Marathon in the concrete jungle of New York was the second marathon. Earlier in 2007 the mother of two children aged 34 years has attended a marathon in Greece to form a body for the sake of the film Smokin 'Aces.
"I think the marathon is a great thing that needs to be tested once in a lifetime," said Keys told David Letterman on The Late Show.
It was not only once he bermaraton. Her brother asked her to run together.
"My first instinct says, no. But then I think New York is my town. So why not," he wrote in the blog. "I'm trying to solve mental boundaries. Training for a marathon becomes a Jedi-style mind training I need."
Keys will be running and raising money for an organization that he founded. The organization called Keep a Child Alive. The charity work getting HIV drugs to children and families in Africa.
